Pathway Description |
The Health Sciences pathway includes the Governor’s Health Science Academy (GHSA) which has been designed through a collaborative effort between Alexandria City Public Schools, and George Washington University (GWU). Through this collaboration, students will have the ability to receive up to 18 college credits from The GWU School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Students will have the opportunity to start a career pathway that leads to an Associate and/or Bachelor's degree as well as earning career-related industry certifications. Non-GHSA students can enroll in the health science exploratory courses and GHSA courses if seats are available for non- dual enrollment credit. |
